The Project:
In a series of video explainers produced for the European Union, a group of characters leads through different cooperation topics between the European Union and the Council of Europe, such as cybercrime, fighting violence against women or supporting young generations.
My Role:
As project lead, I was responsible for all creative and visual decisions agency-side, consulted the clients in the product development and translated their goals to a team of animators and freelancers. I wrote the scripts (in French and English), developed the characters and visuals, and created the storyboards. I took part in the financial tendering and developed the creative concept in cooperation with the client and my team.
The Project:
A video portrait was created for a religious institution in Germany in which two members of different religions - a christian and a muslim - meet for the first time and get to discover each others beliefs and values with an open mind.
My Role:
As producer, I conceptualised the video including content, creative design, locations, and casting of the protagonists.
Moreover, I was responsible for the entire production (incl. pre and post). I wrote the script, directed the protagonists on set, conducted the interviews, shot the images, edited and voiced over the final video.
The Project:
Rüko is a German company that sells and rents cranes, asphalt and earthmoving equipments globally. To present and market their products and corporate values internationally, an image film was created.
My Role:
Adopting different roles during this project, I was involved in coordinating the on-site production, operating cameras and drones, and editing. Furthermore, I was responsible for the international film versions, supervising translation, and voicing over the script in English.
The Project:
For the 70th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights, we produced 16 short hybrid animation videos for the Council of Europe, each presenting a successful court case. The hybrid videos combine various formats, such as real images, stock footage, and animated icons and visuals.
My Role:
As project lead, I developed the creative concept of the campaign in cooperation with my team and the client. I kept track of client goals, translating them to a team of animators and freelancers, while coordinating the production and external partners and controlling timelines and product quality.
The Project:
Stiftung Kinderland
is a German foundation that supports the
development of young talents in music, art, literature and STEM. Every year, new talents work for two weeks with professionals on their personal development, captured in short clips for TV, social media and a closing event. This docu report gives a glimpse into the literature development programme led by recognised authors in a true creative safe space.
My Role:
As producer and filmmaker, I developed the creative concept of the video, shot the images, orchestrated the settings and interviews, wrote the script, selected the music, edited and voiced over the final clip
(incl.
sound mixing and colour correction).
The Project:
The
Council of Europe's education department has launched a
series of online courses on Digital Citizenship Education. The produced trailer had the goal to activate educators and other stakeholders to use the publicly accessible courses. The video was created for web, and adapted for social media.
My Role:
As producer, I
conceptualised the trailer, created the visuals and screen recordings of the e-learnings, selected the music, edited the final video and adapted it for social media.
The Project:
In this video documentary, created for a cultural non-profit organisation in Germany, three middle-aged children were baptised along the shore of the river Neckar right in the center of the city Heidelberg.
My Role:
As producer, I conceptualised the video including content, creative design, locations, and casting of the protagonists.

The Project:
For a broadcast TV format about an award that honours particularly innovative start-ups in Germany (Gründerpreis), interviews with the entrepreneurs were produced.
They aired on different broadcasters in Germany and were further adapted for web and social media.
My Role:
As interviewer, I prepared the topics, and lead the interviewee through the conversation, with the aim of creating an informative but also casual environment that gives a platform both to the start-ups' products and founders.
The Project:
Over two years, a care home chapel was transformed from a basic and unemotional room into a sacred meditative space. This documentary tells the story of the renovation process and the artist who lead it. In cooperation with artisans from all over Germany, he created traditional stained glass windows, an altar and church bench of historic wood, reliefs and much more to tell the story of The good Samaritan throughout the chapel.
My Role:
In a one-man project,
I travelled with the artist to all locations, captured the artisanal and artistic work in well orchestrated settings, interviewed the protagonists, developed the storyline, edited and voiced over the final reportage (incl. music selection, sound mixing and colour correction).
The Project:
A vox pop survey was produced in Brussels, Frankfurt and Strasbourg to show a glimpse of what European citizens understand of the role of their European legal institutions. It was a pre-campaign video for web and social media setting the stage for a series of video explainers on the subject.
My Role:
As producer, I collected the vox pops in the different locations and lead the interviews in English, French and German. During the post production I selected and arranged the interview excerpts and briefed the editor.
The Project:
Journal BW is a local broadcast news magazine that airs on different broadcasters in the Southwest of Germany. Different presenters lead through local financial, social and political news.
My Role:
As a presenter, I wrote the moderative texts, and presented the news format, recorded in a green box. It was responsible to guarantee a diverse, interesting, and high-quality format by creating a good flow of different contents.
The Project:
A regional association of the German bank Sparkasse created micro finance academies in Burundi to give locals financial knowledge and assets to start their own businesses. A short documentary of the project was created in journalistic form.
My Role:
I carefully viewed and selected the raw material recorded by different partners, created the script, translated the interviews (French - English - German), edited the video and voiced it over.
The Project:
Die ABC Show is a
German video language course that was developed during the refugee wave to Germany in 2015. The course teaches basic vocabulary in
26 thematic episodes, one each for the letter of our alphabet. The
terminology is taught with visuals instead of translations to make it accessible to every refugee.
My Role:
In cooperation with a producer, a German teacher and refugees, I developed the language learning content for 26 episodes.
I
presented 11 episodes myself and lead the production for the other 15, as we had four duos of refugees and teachers/journalists presenting the show.
The Project:
A commercial was produced for the non-profit organisation Integrationsmedien GmbH which aims to collect donations for video projects that further a social cause, such as video explainers related to medical care for patients and relatives, or language learning videos for refugees.
My Role:
As producer, I developed the creative concept of the campaign. I casted the speakers of the commercial and managed them in front of the camera in the green box.
